Today is the day to be kind. So we’ve made a list of all the nice things you can do for someone you love, or perhaps someone you don’t even know. Peace and love from SB. x

South Beach babes have to be more than just beautiful. A true South Beacher has a full heart and a kind soul. So spread the love people. Because it’s World Kindness Day today and we’re all about giving, sharing and appreciating.

1. Compliment the first three people you talk to

A few kind words can make someone’s day. You may never know how a simple compliment can turn someone’s thoughts and feelings around. So don’t hold back on the compliments.

2. Donate to your favourite charity

Whether your donation is large or small, it still counts. Every little helps, even the price of your morning coffee. So send a little silver to help out a charity that’s close to your heart

3. Spread positivity on social media

A meaningful quote, a funny meme, or a blog post dedicated to world peace. There are so many ways you can influence your friends and followers.

4. Leave a tip for someone

Tip someone who you think deserves it. The person who serves your coffee every morning perhaps, the bakery where you get your lunch, or maybe the nice bus driver who drops you off every night.

5. Make someone smile with a cute gift

Gifts aren’t just for birthdays. And they don’t have to be expensive to put a smile on someone’s face. So surprise your mum, sister or best friend to something cute and cuddly. Like our adorable animal slippers…

6. Bring food to the homeless

If you really want to make a difference, make time for homeless people in your town or city. A sandwich and a cup of coffee could really brighten up their day.

7. Text your besties to say ‘I love you’

We don’t tell our nearest and dearest gal pals enough just how much we love them. So stop everything you’re doing right now and share some loving words with your best girl squad.

8. Send flowers to your mum

Yep, believe it or not. You don’t have to wait until Mother’s Day to show your mum how much you care. Similarly, you can take your dad out for a pint. Just remember to be kind to your family.

9. Donate a warm coat

We all have things in our wardrobes that we don’t wear. If you havean unwanted coat, donate it to a homeless shelter, refuge or charity. It won’t take much of your time someone will really need it this winter.

10. Bake someone a cake

A cake is a lovely gesture (and delicious too). Bake something nice for the old lady across the road, your next door neighbour or a work colleague to show them you appreciate them.
