SOUTH BEACH RECYCLES PLASTIC BOTTLES INTO SWIMWEAR...
26/03/2019 By southbeach
We have designed our first range of eco-friendly swimwear for men and women, made from recycled materials (including plastic bottles).
The sustainable SS19 collection turns ocean trash into fashion without compromising on design, fit and comfort or product quality. The new range will have the same South Beach styling, same designs but now it will be recycled! Our SS19 recycled range is on-trend - embracing a selection of prints & styles; you would never know the difference!
We are working in partnership with companies who make this recycled fabric, each piece designed will go towards hitting the recycling target of 10 billion bottles by 2020. With 91% of all plastic going to waste in landfills, choosing recycled textiles is more important than ever.
South Beach Marketing Manager, Emma Crewe, explains why the soon-to-be-launched recycled range is so wearable, not just sustainable…
"Our products will go towards our sustainability journey – we have a long way to go but it is a start. As well as giving outstanding comfort and quality, more importantly they are seriously on trend!
“For the Instagram fashion crowd and keen followers of the catwalk, they can now feel glam without the guilt – sustainable swimwear has never looked this good!
“We hope to change the way people think of eco-fashion. We’re making it fresh and exciting, as well as affordable."
All our SS19 South Beach Men’s swim shorts and ladies print & plain swimwear will be manufactured using recycled materials, and the new range is now on our website and on our stockists!
