mean girls Student Survival Guide

September’s here and it’s back to the books for some. Goodbye festival season *sigh* and hello laptop; your best friend for every essay or assignment to come. Whether you’re back at school, college or university for a fresh semester, getting back into the swing of things can be a bit tough. If you’re staying in student accommodation, you’ll probably be far away from your home comforts too. So how does one survive the new term ahead?

Here’s the South Beach SURVIVAL GUIDE with everything you need to get through until the Christmas break! Just make sure you follow our 5 survival tips and everything will work out just fine.

SURVIVAL TIP #1: STAY WARM AND COSY

No-one can survive a term in a cold, student house without a cosy onesie. If you don’t own one yet, make sure you get your hands on this super cool and comfy Plum & Cream Polka Dot Onesie for just £20!

SURVIVAL TIP #2: DON’T TOUCH THE FLOOR

We all know that slippers aren’t just to keep your feet warm – they’re to keep your feet clean when you’re walking around on dirty student floors. ;) Most of us get attached to our slippers and it’s easy to see why when hoovering becomes a game of ‘Chicken’ with our housemates so make sure you protect your feet in style with our fab selection of cute animal slippers. We particularly love the Pink Unicorn Set!

SURVIVAL TIP #3: DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT…

All your essentials. Now that includes lip balm, a mirror, all your books, your iPod, your favourite magazine, a chocolate bar (you never know when you might get peckish) and of course your stationery. Make sure you have a sturdy yet stylish bag like our Kendal Neon Aztec Print Backpack to carry all your bits and pieces between lectures.

SURVIVAL TIP #4: HAVE MOVIE NIGHTS

This is very important. No student semester is complete without a few good movie nights to bond with your housemates. Just be sure to have some fleecy pyjama sets to keep you warm for the colder season like our Pink Neon Heart Print Fleece Two Set.

SURVIVAL TIP #5: BOOST YOUR ENDORPHINS

It’s easy to get down in the dumps when you’re away from home. But moping around won’t make you feel any better. Exercise is the best way to boost endorphins so don’t make excuses this semester. Get to your college/university gym and work away your troubles on a treadmill. Our Pink Racer Back Contrast Trim Vest and Black Contrast Print Leggings are a must – don’t leave home without them!
