Summer is here and festival season is back. With Y-Not Festival last weekend and Creamfields and Leeds Fest just around the corner, what better thing to talk about than current festival fashion trends?

It’s been a long time coming, but festival 'boho' is over. Hang up your flower crown and cut up the crochet and get ready for bucket hats, heavy weight boots and much more! Here at South Beach we have put together a list of MUST-HAVE trends for the summer.

Tie Dye

TIE DYE!

Tie dye is BACK and is guaranteed to be seen throughout the crowds at any festival this year. You can get your hands on this trend at high fashion brands, vintage stores or even doing your own DIY job, so get your dying kit out and get ready for childhood 90’s memories to return!

Oversized Hats

OVERSIZED HATS!

There’s no better way to stay cool this Summer than wearing an oversized hat. If you’ve scrolled through your Instagram this summer, you’ll have seen many influencers wearing these.

BUCKET HATS!
Now for a trend that EVERYBODY is talking about. From Alex at Glastonbury to Ovie from Love Island, bucket hats are a much-loved trend this summer – especially for festivals! Bucket hats are definitely the headwear of choice this festival season!

LEOPARD PRINT!

At Glastonbury 2019, leopard print was the trend to beat! With A-listers as Pixie Geldof, influencer Camille Charriere, plus Immy and Suki Waterhouse all rocking the wild pattern over the weekend.

NEON!

The spring/summer 2019 catwalks saw several retro trends re-emerge. There were tie-dye cycling shorts and shoulder padded power suits, but the one eighties trend that there really was no escaping from was neon.

Thanks to the Kardashians, neon shades already hit the fashion scene last year, and it is here to stay!
